APPRENTICESHIPS AT THE UK GRIMME ACADEMY

In the UK we realise the need for young people to join our industry. To reflect this, we offer apprenticeships operated in association with our dealer network, the GRIMME Academy and Brooksby Melton College.

Students gain practical experience working full time at their chosen dealers Service Department, with residential training on a block release format at BMC near Melton Mowbray during periods throughout the year.

At BMC, the content of the course covers general agricultural topics and skills that provide our students with invaluable experience vital to their success. With this knowledge, along with specific GRIMME technical product training carried out within the GRIMME Academy at our head office in Swineshead, our students complete their three-year apprenticeships with both practical skills and a qualification of NVQ level 3 Land Based Service Engineering. With hard work and dedication, some students have the opportunity to go on to study an advanced NVQ level 4.

The GRIMME Training Program produces some of the most competent and technically advanced service technicians in our industry, who benefit both our business and valued customers, as they support GRIMME products in their local area throughout the seasons.
