Handling equipment - Box filler | GBF XXL
Designed to fill large boxes with a volume of up to 5 t with high capacity, particularly gentle to the crop due to filling over the entire width.
The GRIMME box filler, GBF XXL, is a fully automatic box filling device, providing a gentle and uniform filling of large boxes with a size of 3.5 to 5 tons. The adjustable intake height and the box positioning frame are suitable for filling a wide range of different sized boxes. The automatically, hydraulically adjustable gooseneck reduces the discharge height into the box for a gentle crop handling during the whole process of box filling. The machine is operated via the GBT operating terminal and is also equipped with Flow Control for switching the upstream conveyors on and off.

Crop protective, gentle box filling
Thanks to the hydraulically lowerable filling conveyor, a consistently low discharge height can be maintained and the boxes can be filled particularly gently.
Optimum crop flow
The profiled conveyor surface and the adjustable drop brakes reduce rolling and acceleration of the crop and ensure gentle as well as loss-free box filling.

The Receiving hopper, type RH 24-XT, was especially developed for sorting and for processors. The combination with a GRIMME box filler, type GBF XXL, creates a wide handling line with perfectly harmonised conveying width. In this way maximum throughput can be achieved with an optimised, gentle crop flow.
Comfortable operation
The individually configurable operator terminal VC 50 allows each user to adapt his own user-interface in that way, that he is able to make settings as quickly and conveniently as possible.
